PowderedPurple has not tested this mask and does not present it as a treatment for acne, ageing or any skin condition. WAU's own user manual (model FM-22) states it is not for infants, for people with epilepsy, for people with thyroid disease, or for anyone taking thyroid medication, and that it must not be used on damaged or injured skin or on post-operative wounds. Stop immediately if you get redness, itching or any other reaction. Do not use it while it is charging, and do not touch the mask, cable or adapter with wet hands. Light therapy interacts with medication: check with a doctor or pharmacist first if you take anything that increases sensitivity to light, including some antibiotics, retinoids and diuretics. Do not stare into the LEDs. If you are pregnant, have a photosensitivity disorder, or are being treated for a skin condition, ask a healthcare professional before using it.
