Optional aggregate measurement

With current analytics consent, the site can send product-profile views, paid-link clicks and on-site search terms to our own endpoint. Product events contain the product ID, button area, mobile/desktop category and event type. Search events contain the search term and whether it returned any results. No visitor identifier, URL query string, IP address, referrer or precise location is stored in these counters, and nothing links a search term to the person who typed it or to any other event. Server logs are separate. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable this measurement.

Counters are enabled only after private server configuration. When enabled, daily totals are held in our own database and kept for up to 90 days; older totals are deleted automatically during subsequent event processing. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops new events. Search terms are only counted once you stop typing, so partial words are not recorded, and any term containing an email address, a long number such as an order or ID number, or a web address is discarded in your browser and never sent. These aggregate counts cannot identify returning visitors or establish advertiser revenue; advertiser reporting is separate. No email subscription service is connected.
